telent’s Wireless business is supporting the 'biggest challenge in broadcasting since the introduction of colour television'. Alan Campbell Group’s expert mast rigging teams have been contracted to install new antennas and associated equipment in some of the most challenging areas, delivering Digital services to Britain’s remotest regions.
Broadband implementation
Sky entered the broadband market in 2006 and when it came to rolling out their network, speed was of the essence. Sky turned to telent and benefited from our project management capability, wealth of experience in network rollout and systems integration management, scale and UK reach in this complex programme. Within one year, Sky could reach 70% of households becoming the fastest growing Internet Service Provider.
Fibre Optic Networking
telent has won a major contract to support and maintain a leading service provider’s extensive Fibre Optic network. The contract includes fault finding and fixing across 14,000km of fibre and supporting the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) that takes the network into some of the UK’s largest enterprises. Fibre is set to become the transmission medium of choice for very hi-speed broadband networks.
