Mark Green joined telent in September 2007 on a finance apprenticeship.
Mark’s account of why he joined telent
“During my interview, I was really impressed with what telent offered. I could see that it would be a brilliant opportunity to learn and earn at the same time.
“I am going to college once a week and working toward my AAT, which will give me membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians. After that I can study to join the Chartered Institute of Accountants, which will make me a fully qualified accountant.
“So I’m getting all that and, at same time, gaining invaluable work experience.”
Mark explains his current role
”My role is providing me with a great opportunity to be involved in the fundamentals of company finance. It includes making payments through various systems, updating bank statements, making payments to the purchase ledger and completing various reports, including reports for the Treasury.
“I really enjoy the satisfaction of completing a month end, when we have worked to tight deadlines and got everything done on time.”
