telent has a long history of providing integrated services and solutions to clients in the UK Metro industry including Tube Lines, London Underground and Metronet. These services and solutions range from systems integration to asset and systems maintenance and management. metro

telent provides these services and solutions on a 24x7x365 basis using its Transportation Technical Centre (TTC) that manages corrective and planned maintenance tasks to a number of communications devices. These devices include Public Address systems, CCTV networks, Passenger Information Displays and Help Points.

Metro uses telent’s own maintenance management system to support these services. The system provides full fault management from intelligent engineer selection to asset location and history, remote monitoring of assets, an asset database including network diagrams and a whole-life cost model tool to help identify the optimum time for replacing assets.
