telent has over 30 years’ experience of providing integrated services and solutions to clients in the UK Road industry including the Highways Agency, Birmingham City Council and Centro.

roads Services and solutions range from systems integration to asset maintenance and management. It is well equipped to meet customers’ requirements with regard to the installation and maintenance of roadside electronic equipment, the maintenance and provisioning of private transportation networks including network design, and turnkey solutions for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) e.g. tolling, traffic management and CCTV amongst others. telent is also heavily involved with the provision of traffic and traveller information services through its partnership with Mott MacDonald with which it operates the MATTISSE real-time passenger travel information system.

telent uses its own maintenance management system to support these services. The system provides full fault management from intelligent engineer selection to asset location and history, remote monitoring of assets, an asset database including network diagrams and a whole-life cost model tool to help identify the optimum time for replacing assets.
